  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional, for extra crunch)

  • Black pepper, to taste

For the dressing:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 anchovy fillet, finely chopped (optional, for authentic flavor)

  • Black pepper, to taste


  1. Prepare the chicken breasts: Heat 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with black pepper to taste and add them to the skillet. Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let rest before slicing into thin strips.

  2. Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and finely chopped anchovy fillet (if using). Whisk well until the ingredients are well blended. Season with black pepper to taste.
